Safe, stable homes for individuals priced out of the housing market, because everyone deserves good ground on which to build a life.
Where we are today
Good Ground is in its first year. We are meeting with community organizations and case managers, searching for our first property, and listening closely to learn where the housing gaps are greatest.
We are starting with shared homes because they can open quickly and serve people now. What we learn from our residents and partners will shape every step that follows.
Now: Single-family homes shared by 7 to 10 residents who live independently, structured for fixed incomes.
Long-term goal: Individual homes within a connected community, designed with partners using urban design principles and affordable for individuals priced out of the housing market.
The path ahead
Today: Partner conversations and property search
2027: Open shared housing and identify service gaps
Next: Partner to design a tiny home community
2030 goal: Break ground on a tiny home community
Beyond: Housing and wraparound services from community partners
How we will measure success
